Pirate releases are copies of official releases, usually from Asia or Eastern Europe, which are sometimes of inferior quality, but for obsessive collectors they are an interesting addition to any music collection. Often boasting alternative cover designs and track listings to the official releases, these items are now becoming scarce.

Assemblage (Asian cassette version 1982) This cassette features the tracks in a different order to the vinyl LP and double cassette. It is from a country in Asia although which one is not specified. Assemblage This tape rather oddly includes tracks by the B-52's alongside most of Assemblage. Rather prophetic considering that Mick was a member of NiNa in 1999-2000 with Kate Pierson.
Japan (Asian cassette 1982) This compilation features the same tracks as the USA LP, but in a different order. The tracklisting includes a rather amusing mistake - the final track is called "Still Life In Cantonese Boys"! I'm not sure of the country of origin, but the tape itself says "made in Japan".
